What better day than the beginning of Holy Week to resurrect my Proverbial Finance blog posts! As Pope Francis recently said, “Jesus is the best life coach!”. Many of His teachings can be applied to the business world. We will begin with the Proverbs and today’s quote is from Proverbs 1: 8: “Listen when your father corrects you. Don’t neglect your mother’s instruction.”
So, how does this apply to business or finance? The message is this, listen to those who have more experience than you. Many of the attributes you will apply in your business career you will have learned from your parents, and/or other experienced mentors. Benefit from their experience and knowledge.
